"A ski trip with Penny to the Alps is far superior to other trips. She hires the best guides and finds the best accommodations--wth the most delicious food. Skiing in Europe with an experieced guide is a far different experience than attempting to ski these large areas on your own. Penny has customers coming back year after year. Her meticulous atention to detail guarantees that you'll have a fabulous time on any of her trips." Roger Hinesburg, VT
"Thanks, Penny, for putting together a fantastic ski trip. Of all the ski trips we've been on, this was the best. A combination of you making all the arrangements, the hotel with its great food and service and arranging a Mountain Guide that allowed us to ski off-piste. It doesn't get any better. Sking in the Alps is not inexpensive, but you make it a tremendous value. Thanks for the memories." David Essex Jct, VT
"How sad I am to leave after such a fun week. The cast of characters was varied, interesting and above all great fun." Anonymous
"Can't thank you enough for creating what was the skiing experience of a lifetime for me. And to think how close I came to never having experienced it!" Bruce NYC
"The trip to Val d'Isere was fantastic. You planned everything perfetly. Great weather, skiing, guides and an interesting group of people to meet. What more can you ask for? I have never returned from a vacation so relaxed (and exercised)." Wendy Laconia, NH

Davos is one of the oldest ski resorts in Europe. The high alpine holiday center does not offer the image of a romantic mountain village, but rather that of a bustling mini-city. It still has rustic inns and comfortable cafes, but there are also smart and elegant restaurants as well as a large selection of excellent shops. Five large ski areas are spread out on either side of the valley. The Parsenn area offers ski runs down to Klosters, Serneus, Saas, Wolfgang and Kublis (12 km). Return train transportation is included in the ski pass as are local busses. Besides skiing, the resort offers many other winter activities. Europe's largest national ice rink and magnificent ice stadium make Davos the unchallenged number one resort for ice sports. There are 46 miles of x-country skiing and 50 miles of winter walking trails. Curling, sledding and indoor horseback riding are also available. This famous resort was the locale for Thomas Mann's "the Magic Mountain".
ARABELLA SHERATON HOTEL SEEHOF: The Arabella Sheraton was first mentioned in the 1300's when it was a private home. In the 1800s it became a hotel and has been added to and refurbished ever since. The latest renovations were in 2001 when it was torn down and totally rebuilt. The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable oversized twin beds, telephone, TV, mini-bar and lots of closet space. All bathrooms have hairdryers and bathrobes. The Spa area offers several saunas and steambath, massage and therapeutic treatments. Breakfast is bountiful with a chef waiting to cook your eggs to your desire. There is a Piano bar nightly. The location is the best in all Davos, directly next to the Parsenn cog railway which accesses the main ski area. A ski and rental shop (Parsenn Sports) is located in the same building. Superior rooms (minimal views) have been booked with Executive rooms (full views) on request. During the week, there is an opportunity to enjoy a Cheese Fondue evening in the Paulaner Bar or perhaps a sleigh ride and dinner at a mountain restaurant. The hotel offers attentive service as well as friendly atmosphere and is well-known for its fine cuisine.
