What are the clients saying about the trips?

"A ski trip with Penny to the Alps is far superior to other trips. She hires the best guides and finds the best accommodations--wth the most delicious food. Skiing in Europe with an experieced guide is a far different experience than attempting to ski these large areas on your own. Penny has customers coming back year after year. Her meticulous atention to detail guarantees that you'll have a fabulous time on any of her trips." Roger Hinesburg, VT

"Thanks, Penny, for putting together a fantastic ski trip. Of all the ski trips we've been on, this was the best. A combination of you making all the arrangements, the hotel with its great food and service and arranging a Mountain Guide that allowed us to ski off-piste. It doesn't get any better. Sking in the Alps is not inexpensive, but you make it a tremendous value. Thanks for the memories." David Essex Jct, VT

"How sad I am to leave after such a fun week. The cast of characters was varied, interesting and above all great fun." Anonymous

"Can't thank you enough for creating what was the skiing experience of a lifetime for me. And to think how close I came to never having experienced it!" Bruce NYC

"The trip to Val d'Isere was fantastic. You planned everything perfetly. Great weather, skiing, guides and an interesting group of people to meet. What more can you ask for? I have never returned from a vacation so relaxed (and exercised)." Wendy Laconia, NH

The Trois Vallees, of which Courchevel 1850 is a part, is one of the largest "Ski Circuses" in the world. Nine ski areas, including Meribel, Les Menuires and Val Thorens, combine to offer limitless skiing with one ski pass. Courchevel 1850, the highest of the 5 Courchevels, sits on a broad, sunny plateau. Ninety percent of the hotels are built directly on the ski slopes eliminating transfer buses and taxis. Lifts are only a few feet away from every doorstep. Ski terrain is varied to suit all abilities. A few statistics on the Trois Vallees: 200 direct-link ski lifts, including the world's two biggest aerial trams (160 persons), 1500 snow-guns, 360 miles of marked runs, 54 miles of x-country trails, 1500 ski instructors, 1100 lift attendants and enough lifts to service 255,000 skiers per hour! Courchevel spends $12,000-$16,000 every night to groom its runs--more than any other resort in the world. The Trois Vallees ski circuit covers a total of 40 miles, 20 of them on snow. This is simply the finest and most extensive skiing in the world.

HOTEL LES DUCS DE SAVOIE (3-Star) The Les Ducs is a charming 70 room Savoy style hotel located in the quiet Alpine Garden Forest about 10 minutes from the center of Courchevel 1850. The rooms are of various sizes and include radio, telephone, hairdryer, bathrobe and TV. The Guth family has owned it since 1983. A cozy piano bar with open fireplace and over-stuffed couches add to the ambiance. The hotel has a large swimming pool, sauna and steambath. A ski rental shop is on the premises. You can ski out the back door in the morning and ski home at night. A gondola from the center of Courchevel up to the hotel operates until 8:00PM to allow for apres-ski shopping and sightseeing. The Les Ducs is noted for its fine cuisine and mouth-watering dessert buffet
