Features:
The Glacier Express is one of Switzerland's most famous train excursions. It has been operating since 1930 and is billed as "the world's slowest express train". It averages 22mph during the approximately 7 1/2 hour journey from St. Moritz to Zermatt. The 169 miles of narrow-gauge track are punctuated by 291 bridges and 91 tunnels. Trains reach a peak elevation of 6,670 ft at the Oberalp Pass near Andermatt. For a truly glorious scenic trip through the most mountainous part of Switzerland join us for two weeks skiing St. Moritz and Zermatt, Switzerland.

Penny personally escorts each trip, but gauges the abilities of the individuals when deciding daily adventures.
